oh YESSSS we are back with another bowl, and this one might be a new favorite.
fresh tuna, kale, white rice, shredded cabbage, sliced carrots, green onion, and the star of the show - homemade sriracha mayo. nine ingredients total, and somehow it felt like so much more.
the tuna was freshly imported from a true seafood company (still canned, but good canned). the rice was simple and warm, the veggies were freshly cut this evening, and the crunch from the cabbage and carrots was perfect. everything worked together so well.
but let’s talk about the sauce for a second. the sriracha mayo was out of this world good. creamy, spicy, bold, and absolutely perfect with the tuna and rice. it tied the whole bowl together. honestly, i could drizzle it on just about anything.
this is one of those meals where no real recipe is needed. it’s easy, filling, and perfect for a late late dinner when you want something nourishing but not heavy. simple food done right.
**quick sriacha mayo sauce**
in a small bowl, mix:
mayonnaise
sriracha
garlic
mix until smooth and creamy. taste & adjust to your liking. i could eat this sauce plain! no vinegar or lemon juice here - the sriracha already has enough tang, and keeping it thick makes it so much better.
this sauce is ahhhmazinggggg on bowls, but i know it would be yummy on some sushi (especially!! i am such a sushi girl), sandwiches, fries, and wraps...basically anything.
simple, filling, so satisfying, and perfect for right after a workout. bowls like this make eating well feel easy and joyful. i am so blessed to have the ability to eat the way i do! always be thankful for the food you have been given. it is all truly a gift from the Lord! i recently heard that all i create point back to Christ. i truly love that. great things He has given to us...such as Cane's chicken fingers...
"you cause the grass to grow for the livestock and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth and wine to gladden the heart of man, oil to make his face shine and bread to strengthen man's heart." ~ Psalm 104:14-15

Awesome!!
