happy december, friends! it's that gorgeous time of the year when the eggnog is simmering, national lampoon's christmas vacaction is playing on the tv, the sun goes down below the hills at exactly five o'clock, people begin their christmas shopping, and coffee gets better & better. I think I forgot to do a november happy list, but oh well. it's december now <3 so here I go! grab a cozy blanket, warm drink, & enjoy.

lil walks through the forest in the morning
waking up to a quiet house
snow drifting past the window
christmas music playing low
a living room lit only by the tree

trying a new seasonal flavor in my cappuccino at a local café
the smell of pine
baking
ginger, cinnamon, cardamon - all the christmassy seasonings
cozy bed to climb into after a simple day
workouts in the basement when it's too cold outside
thick socks
soup simmering on the stove for hours
snow difting past the window
